Jason has spent over 30 years building technology products and companies while creating excellent work environments. He has a passion for high-performing teams and products and for lifting up the next generation of entrepreneurs. He is a four-time speaker at Ignite Boulder and enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing, and watching the Red Sox whip the Yankees.
Mark Kortekaas, Principal
Mark has over 30 years’ experience building software platforms and international teams for companies like Univision, Elsevier, the BBC, CBS, and Sony. Most recently, he led the acquisition and integration of Napster as the CTO of MelodyVR. Known for his unflappability and steely gaze, Mark is often mistaken for an undercover cop by his fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
Joe Scharf, Principal
Joe began his career over 20 years ago as an embedded systems engineer before joining Boulder Techstars as their first program director. He went on to join SendGrid as their first full-time employee, eventually building and leading their engineering organization. An avid cyclist, Joe is often found racing deer and coyotes in the foothills above Boulder.
Jenny Nunemacher, Product Lead
Jenny has led the design, definition, and development of software products for over 20 years across industries including healthcare, insurance, and social media. She is equally adept at working with business leaders and engineers, ensuring that everyone focuses on the most important work at any given moment. In her free time she enjoys hockey and disc golf and is working on a full-contact hybrid version of the two that she calls “Ice Death.”
